2. Physical conditions: Identify and maintain appropriate physical conditions for installation, including temperature and humidity. The minimum temperature should be 19^oC, and the humidity level should range from 50% to 75%.

3. Subfloor preparation: Inspect and level the subfloor surface to ensure it is smooth and free of bumps. The walls of the house should also be checked and smoothed, ensuring that the baseboard is perpendicular to the floor.

4. Installation direction: Install the wood flooring parallel to the direction of light to highlight the wood grain and colours, creating a comfortable feel in the space

5. Spacing and fastening: Ensure that the distance between the last wood row and the wall baseboard is at least 5cm. Do not fasten the wood planks using any method, and avoid using a hammer directly on the edge of the wood planks.

3. Process of installing industrial wood flooring correctly

Step 1: Treating the subfloor surface

Before the installation of industrial wood flooring, treating the subfloor surface is an essential step to ensure the perfection and sustainability of the project. The first step is to thoroughly inspect and clean the surface, removing any dust and dirt to ensure a clean surface. Next, levelling the surface is an important requirement to avoid issues such as warping and locking problems later on. Checking the moisture content of the subfloor is also an important step, ensuring that the surface is dry and hard to avoid issues such as sinking and stretching during wood floor installation.

Step 2: Apply the underlayment

The next step is to install the underlayment, a critical phase to protect the wood floor and reduce noise in the room. This underlayment not only helps prevent mould and moisture but also minimizes the noise caused by the wood planks impacting the subfloor.

There are various types of underlayment materials such as nylon foam, silver-backed foam, or non-rubber. Typically, manufacturers and suppliers recommend using a 2mm thick nylon foam underlayment, although you can choose according to your preferences and the specific conditions of the subfloor.

When laying the underlayment, it is crucial to ensure that it is laid flat, either along the width or length of the room. Additionally, use duct tape to securely connect adjacent underlayment pieces. It's important not to stack underlayment layers on top of each other to avoid unwanted compression.

Step 3: Installing industrial wood flooring

Before proceeding with step 3, consider the following important points:

• Firstly, when purchasing industrial wood flooring, it's necessary to consider transporting them to the installation site at least 24 hours beforehand. The purpose of this is to allow the wood flooring to acclimate to the new environment. However, sometimes this may not be necessary if the product has been stored in an environment equivalent to home conditions.

• When installing the industrial wood planks, it's advisable to follow a sequence from the room's corner outwards. At the same time, always pay attention to installing the plank lengths in the direction of natural light, enhancing the beauty of the wood grain.

• Each joint between the wood planks should be carefully aligned, using techniques such as tongue and groove or staggered joints. The minimum gap between the edge of the plank and the wall baseboard should be 8mm, ensuring flexibility for the wood flooring during use. This helps prevent issues such as warping or damage to the plank edges later on

Step 4: Installing accessories for industrial wood flooring

This is the next stage after securely assembling the wood planks from start to finish within the space. This task includes using accessories to cover gaps, secure plank edges, and press the wood planks down onto the subfloor. Common accessories for industrial wood flooring include plastic skirting boards, industrial wood skirting boards, natural wood skirting boards, plastic edging, alloy edging, stainless steel edging, aluminium edging, and various others.

It's important to note that in cases where there are existing wall tiles and the homeowner prefers not to remove them, edge accessories can be used to cover the gaps. These accessories can be chosen in different colours to match the tone of the industrial wood flooring.

However, when shipping, stores often choose accessory colours similar to those of wood flooring. If there are specific requirements regarding the colour of the accessories, customers should notify the seller in advance for optimal service.

Step 5: Completing the industrial wood flooring

You can use skirting boards or finishing trims to cover the gap between the wall baseboard and the final wood plank.
